Yesterday, both Andreas Hedlund and Leif Häggmark served on the jury for the LavinMQ Code Summit hackathon. 84Codes had done an excellent job with the marketing; the event was fully booked.
It lasted all day, with breaks for refreshments and meals. Every team worked with great dedication on their challenge and came up with some fantastic solutions. The jury had a tough job selecting the winners.
Three challenges had been set up:

- How can LavinMQ be utilized in the fictional ski resort of Lavinville? Three groups chose this challenge, applying it to locating avalanche victims, managing snow cannons, and selecting ski slopes, respectively. Bongo Rotto won in the category “Best Use of LavinMQ,” Boels änglar took “Most Innovative Use of LavinMQ,” and AntonRIP earned the award for “Steepest Learning Curve.”

How can AI be leveraged to create a smart service desk? This challenge was also chosen by three groups. Norrlandsgubbe won both the “Best AI Implementation” and “Best UX Experience” categories, while M and M won “Most Creative Solution.”

- How can IoT be leveraged to provide quality public services in rural areas? No fewer than seven groups chose this challenge, focusing on elderly care. C23 won the category for “Best System Solution,” Hello Future for “Best UX Experience,” and TryggBo for “Most Creative Solution.”
